Custom Design Services, Ordering and Customer Policy

At Elegant Handmade Creations, Inc., customer satisfaction is our priority.   We carry some of the most beautiful imported and domestic stocks with matching envelopes.  We work with exquisite embellishments such as silk flowers, leaves, velvet papers and accents, ribbons and rhinestones to help create the perfect invitation.

We have devised a four-step process in providing you with our custom-printing and design services and products.    We guarantee an elegant, exclusive invitation and personal courteous service every time.

*  Please note - This service is for designing an invitation from vision to paper.  If you are interested in customizing an already existing design within our collection, please write us, or place your order for that particular design, and in the 'comments/special instructions' section of the order form, indicate how you would like the invitation customized.  We can usually customize stock colors or embellishments, to fit your event's theme, without you incurring any additional charges.

STEP 1 - The Design Process

• Discuss design, paper, fonts, media, color and theme.  
• Advise you of cost  and provide you with up to 3 electronic images of the design from which to select your favorite.
• Provide you with a physical proof of your invitation via mail for your approval prior to starting production.

We process international orders also.  These are shipped via USPS Global  Priority or Express which is a 6-10 day and 3-6 day service respectively.

STEP 2 - Design Approval

Once a design is approved, we request that you provide  us with your invitation and/or announcement verbiage.  We offer over 200 fonts from which you can select your favorite.  We will provide you with an electronic proof of the layout of your verbiage featuring your font selection for your approval prior to printing.  We always offer fast and personalized service.

STEP 3 - Acquiring Payment

Once the proof is approved, we proceed by collecting payment for your order.   We then begin processing your order.

We require full payment on all orders prior to production.  We will invoice you electronically for you to submit your secure online payment.  We accept all major credit cards and e-check.

STEP 4 - Production

Please plan ahead.  Please keep in mind that our exclusive designs are individually hand-assembled and thus require more time for production than a machine-processed card.  Time required for production is contingent upon the size of the order and the intricacy of the design.  

It is advised that invitation orders be placed within 4-9 months from the event to allow for ample time for production, delivery and your mailing.

In a RUSH?

We can process your order in 10 - 21 business days.  Just indicate on your communication with us that you are placing a RUSH request.  There is a $250.00 fee for all RUSH orders.  Applicable overnight delivery charges will be included in your invoice also.  We may not be able to process RUSH requests during peak season, however.  We will notify you if your RUSH request can be honored prior to accepting your order

We offer custom-design services for invitations, announcements, programs, place cards, menus, thank you cards and more!

Our prices include professional custom-printing in Flat Color or Black ink!  Orders of 250 invitations or more may request quotes for Thermography printing.

Matching Items

We offer matching Thank You Cards, Place Cards, Programs, Menus, Printing of Poems, Songs and Wedding Scrolls.  Please peruse our online catalogue for samples of these items and write us about your custom request.

OUR POLICY:

Once your order is printed, we can accept changes, but you will be charged for the cost of the items which require reprinting as if it were a new order.  If your order was printed, hand-assembled and basically completed, and you require reprinting, you will be charged for a completely new order.  We are not responsible for errors made or overlooked in our customer's proofreading efforts.  However, if when you receive your order, you notice that a typographical spelling error was made due to our negligence, we will reprint that component of your order and ship it to you at our expense.   Be sure that we take every measure to make certain that your order is processed perfectly to your specifications!   We currently have a 99.9% accuracy rating!   We keep accurate and complete files of all our client requests and correspondence and keep a copy of the complete produced Set for verification.

Our products are shipped via USPS Priority or Express Mail Service.  Applicable shipping and handling charges will be included in your invoice.  When your order is shipped, we notify you electronically and provide you with the shipment's tracking number.

All Custom-Designs are the sole property of Elegant Handmade Creations, Inc.  Any unauthorized reproduction of any part of the work done by Elegant Handmade Creations, Inc. is prohibited.  In addition, Elegant Handmade Creations, Inc., retains the right to display any of the sample work completed, including photos, on our web site or in brochure form.
